If you want to display an out of stock or a low stock message when the stock level reaches a certain number, then please set the following in Shop Configuration:

This is the stock level by which an out of stock or low stock message will be displayed. For example – 5. |
In the example above, if the stock is five or less, then a message will be displayed.
