Restoring saved carts

When a customer clicks the Save Cart link, their current cart is saved in a cookie on their computer so that they can come back and restore it at a later date.

Setting this to Yes allows customers to save wish lists on their own PC as a cookie

 

To set this up, please follow these steps below :

1.  In the top menu select Advanced Settings , then Software Configurations from the dropdown.

 

2.  Enter xallowsavecartin thesearch box and press the “Search” button.

 

 

3.  Change the value to Yesand click Continue.

From the customer service menu, the customer can restore the cart or delete the cart.

Your customer can restore / delete the saved cart by following the steps :

1.  In the  top section of the store, click My Account.

2.  Click Cart Administration in the customer service area.

3.  The list of saved carts will be displayed.

The cart names can be anything and the customer can have any number of carts saved. The customer does not need to be registered in any way on your site to use this facility.
