VPCART can decrement the stock level at the end of the order – you need to set the following options in your Software Configuration to control this.

Setting this to Yes tells VPCART to adjust the stock level at end of the order. |

Setting this to Yes tells VPCART to hold off adjusting the stock level until the order is marked processed in the administration. |
Note: VPCART cannot stop two separate customers from ordering the same item at the same time. VPCART has no way of locking out one customer - the stock level is decremented only at the completion of the order or when it is marked processed as defined above.
