After you select the Customer Groups option, there will be two fields displayed below it :

Select which customer groups can view this category. You can select more than one customer group by pressing CTRL + click another group. |

Select which customer groups

In a certain case where a customer is grouped into more
than one customer group, for example, customer A is grouped into customer group
Wholesale and customer group Reseller.
Then when editing a category, we set the following as an
example :
Groups to be included is set to Wholesale.
Groups to be excluded is set to Reseller.
Customer A will not able to see the category because the customer is in the customer group Reseller, which is in excluded list although the customer is also in the other Wholesalegroup. This is how the VPCart system works by taking the excluded list as basis when a customer belongs to both groups in the included list and excluded list.
