SEO IIS is a new module for VPCART 8.00. This module will
enable Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) URLs in your site. Using
this module, you can generate SEO friendly pages for categories / products /
blogs / news / contents / others (Contact us, Cart page, Affiliate page, etc.).
NOTE : You need to have IIS 7.0 and above to run this
module.
Also, IIS rewrite must be installed.

After
you have installed it into your site, this module will be listed in Modules
Manager section automatically :
To setup SEO
IIS, click the Edit icon at the right side. And then you can change the settings
according to your preference.

explanation of the configurations:

Overall SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEOURLs for categories, products, contents, blogs, news , and all other pages (Contact us, Cart page, Affiliate page, etc.). All pages will be generated as more meaningful URLs for SEO. Set this to
No to disable the SEO URLs. |

Categories/Products SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEO URLs for categories and products.
|

Category field included to SEO link |
The fieldname from Categories table to be used as part of SEO URLs for category pages. Default is catdescription.

Product field included to SEO link |
The fieldname from Products table to be used as part of SEO URLs for products pages. Default is cname.

Blogs SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEO URLs for blog pages.

|
Others SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEO URLs for other pages; e.g. Contact us, Cart page, Affiliate page, etc.

Page SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEO URLs for content pages.
|
|
News SEO Enable? |
Set this to Yes to enable SEO URLs for news pages.

If you are using this SEO IIS module, there are several words (whole folder names) that cannot be used because they are reserved:

For example, if you want to create a folder name called
“coupon” in the root of your V8 site, you are not allowed to do so
because the “coupon”folder name is a reserved word in SEO IIS module and
cannot be created as a physical folder on the site.
