Checkout Steps Indicator

You can enhance your shopping cart site with the checkout steps indicator. This will allow customers to indicate that they are on Step x of x when they are in the checkout phase.

The screen above show that a customer is performing aView Cart step,which is in shopaddtocart.asp. (This is new Checkout Steps Indicator used for v8.1 and above).

The icons used is not in .jpg, .gif or other common format, but it’s using Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), an XML-based vector image format.

You can do this in the Shop Configuration.

Basically, the checkout steps indicator consists of 5 steps.

In older version v8.0, the Checkout Steps Indicator can be edited from Checkoutstepstable. However, due to responsive layout requirement, since v8.1 and above, it is not loading from Checkoutstepstable anymore, but is controlled by CSS.

If you are still using v8.0, we would suggest you to upgrade to our latest version.
