Step 1. Firstly, Go to VPCart administration, and go to 'Advanced Settings >> Software configuration' from the top menu
Step 2. In the search box type in 'xcustomeremail' and click search icon
Step 3. The filename of the template to use as the customer email. Default is tmp_customeremail.txt. Click Continue button
Step 4. Xemailformat- Setting this to HTML means VPCART will send HTML emails. Setting this to Text means VPCART will send text emails.
Step 5. Xemailcustomer- Yes emails customer a confirmation of the order.
Step 6. Xemailwithtemplates - Setting this to Yes tells VPCART to send emails using templates, which you can customize.
Step 7. Setting this to No means VPCART will send emails using the default code. Select 'yes' and click 'Continue' button.
Step 8. Now to edit a template file or css file go to 'website >> template/CSS manager' from top menu
Step 9. To load a file to edit, simply select one of the files in the right column. Here we can select tmp_customeremail.txt and click 'Edit' button
Step 10. Once the file is loaded in the editor, you can start editing the file, then click the Save button after finishing.
Step 11. Please make sure to always backup existing files in your FTP in case you need to revert the changes.
