Step 1. Firstly, Go to VPCart administration, and go to 'Advanced Settings >> Software configuration' from the top menu
Step 2. In the search box type in 'Xwelcomeemail' and click search icon
Step 3. Set Xwelcomeemail to 'Yes' and it will send the customer an email when they register on your site.
Step 4. Xwelcomeemailtemplate shows the name of the template to be used to format the customer email. Default is Tmp_welcomeemail.txt.
Step 5. Click 'Continue' button
Step 6. Now to edit a template file or css file go to 'website >> template/CSS manager' from top menu
Step 7. To load a file to edit, simply select one of the files in the right column. Here we can select Tmp_welcomeemail.txt and click 'Edit' button
Step 8. Once the file is loaded in the editor, you can start editing the file, then click the Save button after finishing.
Step 9. Please make sure to always backup existing files in your FTP in case you need to revert the changes.
