Step 1. Please follow the steps here, If you have customers that you specifically want to exclude from paying tax
Step 2. Go to VPCart administration : Customers >> View/Edit customer
Step 3. Click 'Edit' icon against the customer record
Step 4. Scroll down the page until you see field named 'taxexempt' and set its value as 'Yes' or 'True'(no quotes)
Step 5. Click 'Update Record' button to save the changes.
Step 6. Click 'Update Record' button to save the changes.
