Trustpilot is an online review platform that allows consumers to provide feedback, share their opinion, and write reviews about a website.
With online reviews, people can easily make buying decisions and generate trust in any particular brand. Trustpilot is one of the most trusted review platforms for customers. Due to its relevance, businesses are using the Trustpilot reviews and actively opting to embed Trustpilot reviews on websites.
If you are using VPCart 9, please follow the steps below on how to integrate TrustPilot Widget into your site:
1) Sign up a new account first for your domain.
Please go to https://signup.business.trustpilot.com/
You will need to fill in all the fields in the page:
Website:
Company name:
First name:
Last name:
Job title:
Work email: (must be your company domain email)
Country:
Mobile number:
2. After signed up, you should get the activation email. Please check your inbox for the Trustpilot activation email.

Please click the activation link on the email.
4. Once clicked, you should be taken to Trustpilot site to create new password.
Please enter a password.
5. After then you can go to dashboard of the new Trustpilot account.
6. In the left panel, click button Showcase > Website widgets
7. Locate the "Collect reviews" and click Review Collector.
8. Click Get Code.
9. You should see two sections there, go to the first section and click Copy code button.
10. Open your VPCart template file shoppage_header.htm and locate this code at the bottom:

11. Before that, please paste your previous copied code so it should become eg:

12. Go back to Trustpilot site and go to the second/bottom section and click Copy Code.
13. Open your VPCart template file shoppage_trailer.htm and locate this code at the bottom:

14. Below that, please paste your copied code from the second/bottom section of the Trustpilot site.
15. Save the file and upload back to your site.
16. You are done.
17. Go to your front store and you should see the Trustpilot link at the botton of the page as shown below:
18. When your customers click on it, they will be taken to the Trustpilot site to enter their review.
