If you want to display cross selling products by Categories, you will need to make sure you have done the following :
1. In the edit category page, enter value in the "
Categories ID to Cross-Sell " field. The value must be category IDs that you want products from these categories to be displayed.
Example : 11
Or you can enter a list of category IDs with separated commas e.g. 11,5,10
2. Make sure the following config "
xcrossselling " is set to Yes.
3. And the last, which is important, you will need to check config "
xprotabsconfigs " from administration.
If the value of the config is :
xproductextdesc,xcrossselling,xalsobought,xallowratingproducts,xtellafriend
Then you will need to replace it to :
xproductextdesc,xProCatDisplay,xalsobought,xallowratingproducts,xtellafriend
Please note, xcrossselling have to be replaced with xProCatDisplay to display cross selling products by categories.
