a list of containers you can choose.
Enable: Set this to “Yes” to display the Random Products Box.
Label Name: Enter a title. You can use language keyword for this or directly enter your text.
Seq No.: This is the vertical sequence number. Please enter values with a 2-digit format. For example, a 01 value means the Random Products Box will be displayed first in the sequence. You cannot enter a value with a single digit (e.g. 1). If you want to display the Random Products Box last in the sequence, please enter a bigger number (e.g. 09).
Share with Mobile: Set to “Yes” to display for mobile site too.
Set to “No” to display for desktop layout
site only.
How many items?: Enter the maximum number of Random Products.
Random Limit Value: If you have a lot of products and the random product display on the Home Page is slowing down, add a number here to limit the number of products available for inclusion in Random Products. This will update the value of xrandomproductlimit.
Enter here the Content Category you wish to display: If you want to include products from a category into Random Products, please type the category name and results will be displayed. You can then click “Add” to include the category into the random list.
You can also remove a category from Random Products by clicking the “Trash” icon. Remember to click the “Save Changes” button each time you make changes.
NOTE: If you want to display all
categories, just remove categories from the list. It will randomize all
products.
Also, please note that if you have a product, for example, product
X, that is assigned to two categories, for example, category A and category B,
then when you include category A in Random Products only, product A will be
randomly displayed.
The same thing will happen when you include category B in Random Products only, product X will also be randomly displayed.
