Column-Featured Products

To set up how the Featured Products Box will be displayed in the left bar of your site, please follow the steps below:

1.   In the top menu, select “Website” then “Layout Manager” from the dropdown menu.

2.   On the Layout Manager Page, go to “Column Featured Products” and click “Edit.”

3.   To set up the Column Featured Products Box, use the form as shown below:

Main Selection: This is the dropdown menu that provides a list of containers you can choose.

Enable: Set this to “Yes” to display the Featured Products Box.

Label Name: Enter a title. You can use language keyword for this or directly enter your text.

Seq No.: This is the vertical sequence number. Please enter values with a 2-digit format. For example, a 01 value means the Featured Products Box will be displayed first in the sequence. You cannot enter a value with a single digit (e.g. 1). If you want to display the Featured Products Box last in the sequence, please enter a bigger number (e.g. 12).

Share with Mobile: Set to “Yes” to display for mobile site too. Set to “No” to display for desktop layout site only.

Slide Show?: Set this to “Yes” to display products in sliding animation.

Flag Field: The field name in Products table used to indicate that a product is a featured product. Default value is “featuredflag” (if you will only have one Featured Product Box).

If you will set up 2 Featured Product Boxes, you can set up the second box by entering this value: “featuredflag2.”

Sort Field: The field name in Products table used to sort the featured products. Default is “featuredflagorder” (if you only will have one Featured Product Box).

If you will set up 2 Featured Product Boxes, you can set up the second box by entering this value: “featuredflagorder2.”

Search for a Product: If you want to include a product in Featured Products, please type the product name and the results will then be displayed. You can click “Add” to include a product into the Featured Product List.
You can also remove products from the Featured Products and change the sequence of the product list by clicking the “Trash” icon and the “Arrow” icon. Remember to click the “Save” button each time you make changes.

You can set up 2 Featured Products Boxes, with each box having a different product list, using Layout Manager.

For the second Featured Products Box, you need to enter the “featuredflag2” value in the Flag Field and enter the “featuredflagorder2” value in the Sort Field as shown in the form above, so that VPCART can load the second Featured Products Box.
