For VPCart hosting customers that want to setup your email accounts using IMAP in your Iphone or Ipad, you can follow the below steps :
1. On the iPhone, tap Settings.
2. Tap Mail.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Add Account.
5. Tap Other.
6. Tap Add Mail Account.
7. Enter the Name, Email address, Password and Description fields.
Click Next.
8. Ensure IMAP tab is selected.
Then
enter your incoming mail server information eg:
Host Name : mail.example.com
User Name : [email protected]
Password : yourpassword
And also enter your outgoing mail server information:
Host Name : mail.example.com
User Name : [email protected]
Password : yourpassword
Tap Next.
9. You should see verifying status. This will take a few mins long and please wait for the process.
10. You will get a popup screen :
Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL? Yes/No.
Please choose Yes.
11. You should see verifying status. This will take a few mins, please wait for it.
12. You will get a popup screen again (2nd time) :
Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL? Yes/No.
Please choose Yes again.
13. You should see verifying status and this will be just a few seconds. Please wait for it.
14. The setup email is completed, click Save.
15. Try to check your email inbox and see if email is coming.
